Spiritual Thinking
Touch the wood and see the tree, see the church and bend the knee. So it has been with your life. But reach inside for the inner truths, some of which are still waiting to surface.. So did the message to a client begin, a few years ago. It went on.
Think of the rapids that fall from a great height showing the Creator's beauty and splendour in all it's glory. Without great movement, the true magnificence of water would never have been known so do not be afraid of the heights or the depths that life brings you in order for you to recognise that the Self too must have its moments of great movement in order to bring to life the real purpose of its journey here.
Without the rapids and the falls, water like Self would become stagnant - a place only to be avoided, cluttered as it is with dead wood and yesterday's dreams. Avoid the stagnant pool and seek only that which is vital and alive that will sustain the Self. Only when one has become a part of the onward journey can one truly admire and participate in that which surrounds it. There is no time to be idle for you have much to see, to do and to achieve in ways that are new to you. Have the courage to be your true Self and true to that Self every moment in time.
Do not be afraid of that which lies deep within but coax the future forward. Rejoice in that which is yet to be, the new pastures seen with eyes wide open, unflinching. The past will be an integral part of your future so do not look back but embrace the whole of it equally. Is it not so, for when we see from the top of the mountain, all is one. Look not to others to provide a reason for living is growth and that is the aim of each and everyone. Do not regret for regret impedes the learning process.
Enjoy each and every moment and do not let past impurities obscure that vision which is your future. Remember that you are the smooth and the rough, the high and the low, the beauty and the splendour, the calm, the still; for all your individuality you are the living presence of the great Father God and as such you are a beloved child of the universe.

The guy I gave it to brought it back to me the other week and as always, I realised that the message could be for all of us and he agreed and gave me permission to print it.
The guy had been given the message when he needed it but it was only recently, when he read it again, did it really sink in. And now he finds it to be so very relevant in his life
