Founded 1993 to identify good healing practice and to promote healing for acceptance by all NHS Trust and GP's thereby offering complementary treatment for all as a matter of choice. We encourage members to be available within the areas of research at this level as and when appropriate.
In 2005 the Association became an associate of the NHS Trusts Associates.
We welcome applications from those healers who are serious about their work, and make every effort to work in a responsible manner with those who need their help in a variety of circumstances. These may be private practices, healing centres, churches and other places of worship as well as within the NHS or private healthcare.
As this country heads towards integrated medicine and patient choice, we now accept fully qualified therapists. All applications need a copy of their relevant certificates to be sent to us in order for us to arrange the insurance. We do not have an insurance broker on our committee so costs for the healer and the therapists or both are at a minimum.
